Make Your Own Secret BBQ Recipes

Masters of the barbeque grill will tell you that the proper smoking and grilling is only one factor of an unforgettable great barbeque dish. They know that each bbq-loving chef has his own top-secret sauce, rub or marinade that give their beef, ribs, pork, steak, seafood, and chicken the winning flavor.

The long aisles of the supermarket are filled with an infinite number of marinades, sauces, and rubs. One can simply choose among the endless options. But for a fresher and homemade option, I recommend you create your own secret recipe! Here are some options you can try with your favorite barbequed meat:

Barbeque Marinade Recipe

Barbeque marinades are best for whole meats since they tend to get dry during the long grill. However, marinades also soak and make meats mushier than usual. Many marinades have vinegar as component. If a tenderizer is needed as well, add vinegar to your blend.

Do remember that the marinade isn’t a very traditional type to use for a BBQ recipe. They’ll taste good but then they might make your meats somewhat a bit watery. If you want to have the tenderizing and good flavor of marinades and still would like BBQ be traditional then try using a rub for it.

Barbeque Rub Recipe

Even though some think that a barbecue sauce is really the top kind of a recipe for a BBQ, it’s actually all inside a rub mixture. Rubs are a blend of salt and dry spices. They are rubbed on meats before cooking and help form a crust that contains an unforgettable flavor.

Some people shake while others rub it with their hands. Others prefer a wet rub, which is just a dry rub with oil or vinegar. Any would make a delicious barbeque. The best rub is one that has a good and balanced blend of sugars & salts with lots of spices thrown in for good measure.

Barbeque Sauce Recipe

Now comes the really fun portion. The BBQ sauce. BBQ is very popular throughout the world & in the US there are lots of various kinds of delicious bbq sauces for sale in your local grocery stores that choosing an appropriate one is very, very hard.

Barbeque sauce is a thick concoction usually consisting of a mixture of your favorite herbs and spices, vinegar and assorted condiments that is used to baste meat as it cooks. 1 of the more popular ones would be the vinegar-based sauce. They do not contain tomato sauces/ketchup but rather they are very sharp flavored and thin in consistency

More is applied to your cooked meat right before serving. It can also be used as a handy condiment to spice up any other dish. Try BBQ sauces that are white also for that creamy, spicy & tangy taste that would be ideal for poultry.
