New Orleans BBQ Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients:
14 pcs of large shrimp (fresh, with heads on)
6 Tbsps of cold butter (unsalted); cut to pieces
1-1/2 tsps of black pepper (ground)
1-1/2 tsp of black pepper (cracked)
1 tsp of seasoning
3 Tbsps of Worcestershire
1 tsp of garlic
1 pc of lemon; juiced
For the Seasoning:
8 oz of salt
2 oz of garlic (granulated)
2 oz of black pepper
1 tsp of cayenne pepper
1 tsp of thyme
1 tsp of oregano
2 oz of paprika
1 Tbsp of onion (granulated)
Instructions:
Arrange the shrimps on the base of a (saute) pan as 1 layer. Add peppers, seasoning, Worcestershire, and garlic; bake inside the oven at 450 degrees F for 2 mins. Take out from the oven and saute above medium heat then add butter and juice. Swirl the pan, stir using a clean fork and serve on bowls with bread.
To make the seasoning, blend salt, garlic, pepper, cayenne, thyme, oregano, paprika, and onion. Store inside airtight container.
