Mushroom-Stuffed Pork Burgers Recipe
Ingredients:
3/4 c of mushrooms (fresh); sliced thinly
1/4 c of onion (green); sliced thinly
1 pc of garlic clove; chopped finely
2 tsps of butter (or margarine)
1-1/2 lbs of lean pork (ground)
1 tsp of mustard (Dijon)
1 tsp of Worcestershire
1/4 tsp of salt
1/8 tsp of black pepper (freshly ground)
Instructions:
Saute onion, garlic, and mushrooms with butter on a skillet till tender or about two mins. Set on the side. Combine pork, Worcestershire, mustard, pepper, and salt; mix them well and shape to 12 equal patties (4 inches diameter). Scoop the mixture into the six patties and spread evenly w/in half-inch of the edge.
Cover with the rest of the patties and seal the edges. Grill the patties, at about six inches above moderately high coals. Cook for 10-15 mins; turn once. Place in buns.
