“Grilled” Apple Crisp Recipe
Ingredients:
1/3 c of packed brown sugar
14 tsp of nutmeg
1 pack of cake ready-mix (yellow, 18.5 ounces)
1 whipped dessert topping
21 ounces applepie filling
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 c of butter; sliced
2 Tbsps of lemon-flavored juice
Instructions:
Spray bake pan (9-inch) w/ PAM. Have your applepie filling poured over to the pan. Top w/ cinnamon, lemon-flavored juice, sugar and nutmeg. Sprinkle ready-to-make cake mixture on top of pie, covering the filling. Dot w/ pieces of sliced butter.
Preheat oven at medium-temp for ten minutes. Turn to the left-side of cake and have a bake pan inverted on another grid. Put a bake pan on inverted one. Cover the lid, then bake it for fifty-five to sixty-five minutes, ’til bubbly and browned. Allow to cool, then squeeze top w/ whipped dessert topping.
