Chinese Barbequed Pork Recipe 3
Ingredients:
2 pcs of pork tenderloin (1.5 lbs each)
For the Marinade:
2 Tbsps of soy sauce (light)
1 Tbsp of black bean sauce
2 Tbsps of Hoisin sauce
1 Tbsp of sherry
1-1/2 tsp of ginger root; minced
1-1/2 tsp of sugar (brown)
1 pc of garlic clove; chopped finely
1/2 tsp of sesame oil
1/8 tsp of five-spice powder
Instructions:
Trim off the fats and tuck the ends beneath then tie with (kitchen) string on each. Place on shallow baking dish. Combine sauces, ginger root, garlic, sugar, spice and oil; mix them well and pour onto the tenderloins. Coat well and cover.
Marinate for twenty-four hours inside the refrigerator; turn frequently. Let it stand at half hour (room temperature) prior to cooking.
Reserve the marinade and place meat on (roasting) pan. Place inside the oven and bake, 375 degrees F for half an hour or more till meat reaches 160 degrees F, and slightly pink.
Transfer on a chopping; cover with aluminum foil. Allow to rest ten mins. Remove the strings and slice thinly. diagonal.
