Barbecued Corn with Three Savory Butters Recipe
Ingredients:
12 corn ears
3 sticks or 3 (1/2 c) of softened butter
3 Tbsps of bold-’n-spicy mustard
1 tsp powdered chili
2 Tbsp red hot Cayenne Sauce
2 Tbsps snipped chives
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp dry thyme leaves
1 Tbsp minced parsley
1/2 tsp of salt
Instructions:
Peel husks back from the corn, have silk removed. Tie husks c strings up. Soak your corns in coldwater for thirty minutes.
Arrange corns on the grid and grill it over mid-coals for 25 mins or ’til tender. Take off husks and strings. Serve w/ your personal choice of butter.
Butter 1 : Mix 1/2 c of butter w/ hot ‘n spicy mustard.
Butter 2 (Red Hot Chili Butter): Combine 1/2 c butter, cayenne sauce, and powdered chili.
Butter 3 (Herb Butter): Combine together 1/2 c buttter, chives, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, thyme leaves and salt.
