Barbequed Ribs Missouri-Style Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Tbsps of salt
2 pcs of pork ribs (3/down)
1 Tbsp of salt
2 Tbsps of cumin
2 Tbsps black pepper
2 Tbsps of chili powder (freshly-ground)
1 & 3/4 c of white vinegar
2 Tbsps of pepper sauce
1 Tbsp of black pepper (freshly-ground)
2 Tbsps of sugar
1/4 c of sugar
4 Tbsps of paprika
Instructions:
Combine sugar, salt, pepper, cumin, paprika and powdered chili to create the rub. Coat ribs well with the spices. Transfer ribs onto a cookie sheet and then cook ins oven (180 degree F) for about three hours. Don’t turn ribs over.
Take ribs out of the oven and cover to be refrigerated for two days.
Set rack high using a low coal fire. Grill the ribs for 5-30 minutes each side. Pork should be cooked through and has a light (outer) crust.
Baste pork on the last five minutes of grilling time for juice meat or you can serve it dry w/ some sauce (on the side). Cut between ribs to serve.
