Barbecue Ham Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of pineapple-flavored juice (unsweetened)
2 Tbsps of lemon-flavored juice
2 tsps of soysauce
1 can sliced pineapple (8 & 1/4 ounces); drained
1/4 c plus 1 tsp of packed sugar (brown)
2 & 1/2 inch thick smoked ham
1 tsp onion salt
Instructions:
Mix together pineapple juice, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and soy sauce, then boil. Adjust to low-heat, uncover and let it simmer for five minutes; stirring frequently. Set it aside once done.
Trim extra ham fat. Grill ham over mid-coal for 20-25 mins or ’til desired doneness. Baste w/ sauce every side once turned every five minutes. Grill sliced pineapples over mid-coal, a minute for every side. Top ham w/ pineapples, then pour over the rest of the sauce.
