Bbq Chicken With Sesame-Chili Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
8.5 oz of plum sauce
3 Tbsps of honey
1/3 c of hoisin sauce
1/2 tsp of ginger; ground
1 Tbsps of water
1/2 tsp of five spice powder
1.5 tsp of chili sauce
2 cl of garlic; finely chopped
1 Tbsp of sesame seeds
2.5-3 lb broiler
Pepper sauce
Chicken; cut into 4 pcs
1/3 c of soy sauce
Sweet & sour sauce
3 Tbsps of water
Instructions:
Combine plum sauce, honey, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, water, ginger, five-spice, chili sauce, garlic, sesame seeds, pepper sauce and sweet and sour sauce into a small-sized saucepan. Cook ’til bubbly over medium-heat. Stir frequently. Lower heat and let it boil for about 5 mins. with cover. Set it aside.
Once chicken is rinsed, dry using a paper towel. Remove the skin if you want. Transfer it on a grill over medium-heat with the skin down. Lay chicken flat if quartered. Grill chicken for half an hour. Grill the other side 15-25 minutes ’til tender. Baste w/ sauce often; and on the last few minutes of grilling.
Serve on a dish. Heat sauce to serve w/ chicken.
