Basil Marinated Flank Steak Recipe
Ingredients:
1/3 c of oil (vegetable)
1 garlic clove; minced
3 Tbsps of vinegar (red-wine)
1 tsp of mustard (Dijon)
1 (1/2 pound) flank steak
1 tsp of dry basil
1/4 tsp of sugar
1/4 tsp pf pepper
Salt
Instructions:
In shallow large dish (glass), combine and whisk vinegar, basil, pepper, sugar, oil, garlic and mustard. Add in steak to mixture, turn, coating every side. Place in covered container. Marinate for 8-24 hrs, turn to sides occasionally.
On a greased pan over mid-heat, cook meat, occasionally brushing w/ marinade (5-7 mins for every side). In a chopping board, cover meat w/ foil. Stand for few minutes, you may season w/ salt, then thinly cut into diagonal slices and serve.
